Crafts Corner

Name of Group: Crafts Corner

Group Leader: Lesley Darley

Day Group Meets: Monday

How Frequently Group Meets: Monthly

Time of Day: Afternoon
Time Meetings Start: 1.00 p.m.
Time Meetings Finish: 3.00 p.m.

Location of Meetings: Youth and Community Centre

Purpose of Group:
So people who enjoy crafts can get together and share their skills with each other.

You do not need to have a craft skill but maybe you can learn one.

What Happens at Group Meetings:
We have had one meeting where we discussed our various likes. Lesley showed a short demo of the kumihimo braiding and changed the ear ring wire of one of the other member’s ear rings, as they were difficult to get in and out of her ears.

Does the Group currently have any vacancies?
Not right now. Crafts Corner has been so successful that the Group is currently full but if you'd like to register your interest in joining, please contact the Group Leader.
